Hey, about the bike for the small gf..I'm 5' and have always struggled with finding a good DH rig that fits. I am selling my xs Norco six. It's been a sweet ride, love the fit. I upgraded about 90% of it to burl it out a bit. I highly recommend this ride. I'm a chick and it's done me well. Check it out in the buy and sell if ya like. At $1750, it's a wicked deal. Hardly rideen past 2 yrs. Or, if you want to throw down the cash check out the new ones. I wouldn't get sucked in to the "women specific" rides. So many bikes are lighter and shorter in the TT these days. GOod luck with the search.
